Fortnite Will Be Getting A Limited-Time ‘Teams Of 20’ Game Mode

Fortnite Items just announced that they are going to be introducing a “Teams of 20” Battle Royale mode with a free update rolling out later today. Basically, that’s five teams of 20-man squads fighting it for their chicken dinner. Oops sorry. Wrong game.
    The 20-man game mode will only be accessible for a short time and are going to be the first crazy game mode inside a whole lineup of little while crazy game modes that Epic Games offers to introduce soon. "We’ve been hammering away at Limited Time Modes! Getting you multiple playlists (solo, duo and squads) during LTMs are at the top in the priority stack," says Epic. "We’ve been using multiple data points (together with feedback) to iterate our existing LTM’s and to create brand new LTM’s. We are going to quickly spin up 12 or so LTMs, some may be more straightforward (e.g. like Sniper Shootout, Sneaky Silencer etc.). We also use LTMs to Buy Fortnite Items check new Shooting Models. From there, we would like to make internal improvements and we all can introduce more involved LTMs (e.g. “floor is lava”)."
    Here are the overall game modes the studio intentions to introduce "in the following month roughly":
            Blitz Mode (shorter matches!)
            Drop in the first circle
            Generally much less time between circles
            Team sizes between 50v50 and squads
            50v50 v2
                Closer to your 50v50 Trailer experience
                Split to start
                Converge on Battle
                Bus for each and every team
                See all of your squadmates for the map
